No. Any person is able to own a property in Mallorca or any other part of Spain, as long as he/she fulfills the Money Laundry regulations. It is very interesting to mention that for non EU-citizens, if they buy a property, making an investment of more than half a million euros, they can obtain a residence visa, called “the golden visa”, equivalent to the US green card.
